Once extruded, each cable conductor is tightly twisted with a paired conductor to reduce inductance for low high-frequency attenuation. This tight-twist is also responsible for a round cable edge, making the cable that much easier to pull around sharp-cornered studs or through conduit. Many small conductors make up Dayton Audio's speaker wire to reduce skin effect and bass-response robbing capacitance. Input from custom audio and video installers aided in the development of the cable jacket for trouble-free cable deployment.
