CCTV camera installation can pose some unique installation challenges, if you use the wrong cable. The solid copper center conductor within this RG-59/U cable is ideally suited for critical video from high resolution surveillance cameras. The tinned bare copper braid provides 95% coverage and provides an effective path to transmit RS-422/485 and other camera control protocols, while a 25% overlapped Mylar foil bonded to the dielectric provides 100% shield protection from EM and RF interference. UL listed and CMR rated for use within walls. 250 ft. and 500 ft. put-ups. The two-conductor 18AWG power cable is attached in a Siamese construction allowing you to essentially pull two cables at one time. The power cable can provide a low loss path for 12 VDC as well as 24 VAC. The package was designed with ease of installation in mind. The spool-in-box payout system* virtually eliminates performance robbing cable kinks during installation. And if you prefer the use of a wire rack our spool can be quickly removed and "racked-up" on a traditional cable caddy.
