The added capacity of HDTV channels available from digital cable and satellite makes it necessary to reconsider the type of coaxial cable used for installations. Poor quality cable causes a high voltage drop along the cable length. This limits channel bandwidth resulting in a less than predictable performance potentially creating service calls. A solid copper center conductor, within Dayton Audio's RG-6/U cable, is the perfect signal path for high performance signals used with satellite and cable receivers. The bare copper braid provides 95% coverage and is also ideally suited for surveillance cameras that transmit data over the shield. Aluminized Mylar foil is bonded to the dielectric (125% coverage) to provide 100% shield protection from EM and RF interference. UL and C-UL listed; CMR rated for use within walls. Packaging was designed explicitly for installers on the go. The spool-in-box payout system virtually eliminates cable kinks during installation. For installers that prefer the use of a wire rack, the spool can be quickly removed and "racked-up".
