Category 6 cable provides a high-speed pathway for gigabit Ethernet performance. Perfectly suited for applications including computer network, telephone, surveillance, video distribution, audio and infrared system control. Dayton Audio Cat 6 cable has been designed, manufactured and verified to meet and exceed published standards for computer network installations. Features include a superior 550 MHz bandwidth compared to standard 250 MHz Cat 6 cable, and a thick central spline that separates the individual pairs decreasing noise and crosstalk. UL and NEC requirements have been met for vertical flame tests making this cable riser rated for in-wall and in-ceiling installations. Packaging has been designed around the Spool-in-Box payout system. This enables installers to save time (and money) by virtually eliminating performance robbing cable kinks, common with other manufacturers' bulk Cat 6 cable, during installation. Alternatively, the internal spool may be removed to "rack-up" on a traditional cable caddy.
